Tika most people do not use bedding or what is also called substrate. On my cage i have 6 holes drilled with a bucket under it for the water to drain into. So i would scrap the bedding which is not used because chams prefer higher areas.

From what i have heard and when i got my chameleon they take time to adjust to new house meaning may not eat drink sleep etc.

My female veiled chameleon Zilla enjoying the view of the mantis she will not get for food. She hasn't tryed to eat it. I have a container with the chinese mantis next to zilla's cage and she goes over to watch every day.

I have blaptica Dubia they are GREAT! they don't stink, climb, Easy to breed, and so much better than crickets. I recommend these to anyone who wants a good feeder and one that is better than crickets.
