This is Treeko. He is around 5-6 months old. Manage to get a quick picture in when I was cleaning his home. He is not tame at all and runs from me. :(
I have one more.. well the Mrs. has one. His name is Ziggy. Not dure if he is starting to warm up to me.. Hand fed him last night but still...
So tonight, One of my boys took a mealworm from my hand! I'm like a little school girl at a One Direction concert right now... Lol He still doesnt like my hand because as I was removing it from his enclosure, he puffed up and tried getting my finger... Little turd. But still... I am happy at...
My experience at pet stores is that they are not educated enough. I got my chams from my neighbor and before I even got them a lot of reading to understand what I am getting into. Been to a petsmart and their cham look so unhealthy that I feel like I should buy it and nurse it back to...
I agree with Carol. Although I do not know how jackson's environment should be, but judging how you put thing, it sounds like you have a wonderful setupfor a cham.
Awe, Its so cute... I want to get me a panther cham when I get enough for a 3rd enclosure and the supplies needed. And space... Gots to find space for the enclosure. :D
Greetings everyone!!!
I was wondering who are the awesome parents of chameleons in Indiana? I myself live in Indiana. Hell, even those who live around the state of Indiana, don't be afraid. Lol Well, I guess... while I'm at it... Everyone just shout out where ya live... SO I can stalk you...
Hey.. At least you guys weren't hand washing dishes only to back away from the counter and sink to notice that a mommy spider decided to lay eggs in the crack between your dishwasher and counter... And said eggs hatched, now hundreds of spiderlings are crawling on your leg and the counter... I'm...
Lol, Your not the only one... The wife thinks a lot of chameleons are ugly cuz of the way their face is... I called her stupid and judgmental... I will be sleeping on the couch for a couple days now...
It takes an extreme amount of time from what I have been reading on the forums about taming a chameleon. I have 2... they both still dont like me. As for misting the cage... Do it just on the leaves of the plants... Thats what I do and neither of mine dont act aggressive. They wait till I am...
I've only had my chams for close to 2 months and it doesn't look like poop... I did have one of mine regurgitate its food once due to eating to much and it doesn't look like it either... BUT, I am not an expert.
He was a bit smaller when I first got them. One just grew bigger. I'm working on getting bigger enclosures just hit a snag budget wise... 4 kiddos are not cheap. XD
They are separate. He just eats only 1 or 2 meal worms or crickets a day. I mist 4 times a day. calcium with d3 twice a month and calcium w/o d3 everyday. (except during cal w/ d3 days). Still working on them liking me. A long process. But yea...
