Ok, la Coka nostra is back. Not sure what to do.

Hey guys, So with the pics below taken into consideration: My little Melonia still has been developing this white powder around her nostrils. I figured it was supplements, so I cut back. Still noticed it a few days later. I thought it could be water evap residue from the tap, so I began to...

    All you Florida cham freaks

Yeah, I've read the Krysco paper (and have actually spoke with him at UF) and have visited the site a few times. Thats one of the locals I know of. Looks to be that most of them have been collected over the years. I've heard of them popping up here and there along the road side just west of the...

    All you Florida cham freaks

Ok, So I'm a graduate in environmental studies and biology and happen to be a huge chameleon fan. I'm completely aware of the issues involving international pet trade and invasive exotics in the U.S. particularly Florida. I respect and appreciate all cham fans, however like many...

    Cricket Feeder

I'm trying your recipe LPR. I tossed everything into the blender and chopped it up, chopped it up real good  I added a tad of H2O and scooped it all out into ice cube trays. I'm gonna freeze it and try it out tomorrow. I just want to find a good low cash way of keeping my chams fed well :D

    Drawing blood

Like everyone else, the tail is the most desirable draw point. FYI, your cham is going to hate the Sh!t out of your vet for this, (on to my point) his or her tail is most likely going to turn a very dark color even black, and could stay this way for a little while. I've had this happen...

    Mouth slightly open

Yes, keep an eye on him, gaping is used as a method of cooling or thermoregulating. However, this may be a precursor to a URI...? I had a similar issue with my female Jackosonii which led to a fatal URI.. Keep an eye on it and keep us posted.

Red Body Blue Bar Ambilobe HELP PLEASE!!

Usually 35-50 for the visit, plus any work they do on site, plus the antibiotics Rx. With a looker like you've got here, the vet may give an injection (antibiotic) during the visit. Blood work is a little spendy too, and if you haven't had it done yet, with an infection on his lip, I'd recommend...

My Chameleon Just Fell Help Plzz!!!!

When you can, get her to a vet if her condition doesn't improve. I've had this happen to a water dragon before. He fell just right ~7-9 inches and jambed his spine and was paralyzed from his rear hips down. The vet gave me steroid injections to decrease swelling to see if that would reduce any...

Shes eating the white pebble things in the soil...!

Ok, so I've seen her only eat two of those perlite stones. I'm gonna set up a small cage with no soil and just plastic plant litter so I can keep an eye on her for a few days. I'll keep track of her cricket consumption and defecation for a while to make sure things are passing through...
