tossing them in the fridge for a short while before feeding will slow them down. Also placing them in a steep sided dish will keep them in one place while your cham is getting ready to eat.
Hope that helps

Just wanted to make sure that you removed the plastic lens from your UVB light...If you haven't you need to because it will block the UVB.
Hope that helps and nice cham....

I am not sure but there are parts that look like it is orange. This would be a sign of dehydration. Also it looks pretty runny. It is always like that?

To be able to help you better fill out the questionaire.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage construction (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and type of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp...
Great...nice sized cage too...
I think the others are right on it....just keep a close eye on your cham...A pattern should begin to emerge and then you can adjust your feed acordingly.
Hope that helps

nice design...You are probably gonna want to brace up the bottom in the middle to support the bottom and anything else that you decide to place on it. If you plan to put larger plants you may consider 2 braces to make it really stiff.
Also have you considered your drainage?
Hope that helps...
Take a look at this vid.....
it is a little more intensive on the dripper side but the idea for the catch basin is pretty good.

take a look at brad ramsey's thread....

it may offer some assistance with clearing your cham if it is a obstruction.
I would suggest that you get your cham to vet at this point. and keep trying to get more fluids into your cham...
Centipedes while not necessarily toxic to humans...are toxic to chams...Unless you where to cut the head off and then let him have at it. Then again wouldn't the be high chitin too.
hope that helps..

sorry I don't have answer for you, But I do have another question.

Just curious.

Welcome Kit. I hope you have lots of fun with your new pet.
As far as the enclosures, Many of the keepers across the pond keep their Chams in a Glass enclosure very successfully. So it is possible. Keep an eye out for their posts. I think the main thing to remember with glass enclosures is...
try the warm soak then....use a large container to allow him to move around freely.
Hopefully you did your shower this way

Follow the technique rather than the frequency and other stuff. Moving your cham to the shower is fairly stressful and...
when you say you spray him, how long do you spend spraying him. Have you seen him drink at all?
Misting cycles at a minimum should last at least 5 min....and during at least one of them you can witness them drinking.
other solutions maybe a nice warm shower or a short soak in some warm...
In the past I have set up a drip system to run all day with about 1 drip every 2 to 3 sec. But I also supplemented with additional misting at least 2 to 3 x per day...
Hope that helps

Two days doesn't sound too long. A full shed can take a week or longer depending on condtions.
When a shedding cycle starts increased you misting freq and duration to help the process.
Hope that helps

pictures and filling out the form will help
Since you have the vet appt. keep him hydrated as much as you can. soft foods like silkies might help to keep your chams calories up while you wait for the appt.
