Is it a bad Idea to just leave her in the same viv with him...although she does seem to mind the cigarette smoking afterwards.
Joe seems pretty worn out after the deed is done too so I have taken her out for a couple of hours. 2 hours to be exact.
I am gonna try again...in...

Your diet seems a little protein deficient. You may consider ensure or something with a little more balance to help.
also if possble since you are already force feeding may some small silkies or supers to supplement.
I would also you caution you on how much you are trying to hydrate. It...

I would have to disagree. The potential for illness is too high. You already stated that your cham will drink from leaves. If the dish isn't available your cham will move to the next available source
My recommendation would be to remove it.
HOpe that helps.

Orchids in the viv. I have 3. Certain species do better than other. Watch out for the fertilizer that most of the plants will have, and the ocassional wood chips...
I think the real question is, How long are you misting for?
I think the bare minimum for misting is at least 5 min. Some chams need to be stimulated longer. some keepers recommend warm or hot water too. I have a herpmist system which which des two things for my chams...water for thirst, and...
anything with free standing water will be a resivoir for bacteria. there are some keeper who use a humidifier to the same effect and my guess is that because it is out side the cage no fecal material can get into the water source and contaminate it. I don't see why a fogger couldn't serve the...
The more that you can mist from the top or at a steeper angle the more the water will remain in the cage. The addition of something to keep the water inside will also help...shower curtain, plexi.
I was just wondering what the lower part of your cage looked like. Is it a wash basin? thanks...
this is a very interesting thread. It sounds so common sense after reading every thing.
Personally I think both enclosure have their advantage. If you live in an area where conditions are far different from specs for a cham then you need to set up a micro climate. screen enclosures make this...
pictures can be misleading, but it doesn't look normal.
More accurately have you seen this cham moving around the cage? Lack of movement or failure to use legs or tail may so give you more clues.
One more thing to assess would be the rear leg grip strength.
There also seems to be some...
