shower
Incase you jump the gun and give it a shower:
aim the spray into the wall so that it mists off
temperature should be high warm. like not HOT but nice and warm.
put him on a plant and stick it in the shower. u may have to hold the plant as i do. but its a real killer.
set him there...
Killjoy is spot on. Just one suggestion. use an opaque cup. they tend to shoot the cup when trying to get feeders in clear cups.
P.S. Proper research before buying any pet will save you alot of waisted time, money and aggrevation.
For my biology class im making a powerpoint presentation. Im looking for a panther chameleon head shot that fades into the background, but im coming up short. Basically like this link just with a cham head :D...
There are so many options, just stick with whats available. Im guessing carpenter bee's eat wood. So basically you would be feeding your cham wood. So I'd have to suggest not to feed them.
I wouldn't wanna find out. It's not the pesticides im worried about with "wild" insects its the parasites. Think of worms in dogs/cats and tape worms with humans/animals. Not stuff I want to expose to my cham.
I got a 8 pack of GE Reveal 60w for like $6 at Lowes. Theyre just normal house bulbs that work perfect. One thing I will suggest is when you get a chance replace that repti GLO with a ZooMed ReptiSun 5.0. Those GLO's are reported of causing blindness and other cham issues.
What Brad said. Your cham isnt a female its a MALE. Try lowering the temperature either by increasing the distance from lamp and basking spot or buy a dimmer from Lowes or Home Depot. Also probably wouldnt hurt to mist a few extra times during the day.
I've been thinking bought getting that thing. my bottle setup is getting on my nerves. i just cant bring myself to spend the 10 bux basically just for that lil black valve thing.
