his tank was on the other side of a piece of furniture, plus a piece of plywood that covered the side of his tank. the new chams' tanks were covered with blankets the first 2 weeks, and every 3-4 days I would open their tanks up and check on them, pull them out and make sure they were eating...
I woke up this morning to find my 11 month old veiled laying on the bottom of the cage, dead. He's had not been eating well the past few weeks. 3 weeks ago, I added a new mistking to his cage (I had a POS exoterra monsoon for a while, until it burned out about 2-3 months ago, in the meantime I...
i also do all three. I have a cup in each of my tanks that I put a few crickets in a day, and also throw a few free range. then when I want to give them a treat, usually after handling, ill handfeed or hand-cupfeed some dubias or worms
your over feeding. 20 crickets in one day is waaaaaaaaay too much. theyre kinda like us..theyll keep eating if you give it to them. you only want to give them about 5-6 appropriately sized crickets per day. crickets should be no larger than the distance between their eyes

in my exp with hibiscus, do not buy the ones from lowe's/home depot that are out in the full sunlight. like most plants, they adapt to the amount of sunlight that they are receiving, and if you bring them inside under a lamp, they most likely will not be getting that same amount. try to buy...
I also found http://www.tikitikireptiles.com/pages.php?id=8 and http://www.cleanlinechameleons.com/safe-plant-list/...which account for the orchids that I had in question..but I still have seen some bromeliads and it seems like something else that im not remembering right now
outside of the one of flchams, is there any other list out there? I only ask because I've seen several people using plants in their cages other than what is listed on their site. i'd love to find a little bit more variety in some of my cages and future projects
edit: or even just a rule of...
well chameleons foremost need fresh air. they live in the tops of trees where there is always a fresh breeze. second, the humidity is high for a few reasons. the screen cage will hold in humidity better than a free range setup, not necessarily a glass enclosure. you'll need to have a mister...
they look like bites to me...do your feeders have something to eat/drink when you put them in the cage? keep a small cup of fruit at the bottom to keep this from happening
