Thanks! It's actually kind of funny, since Krakatoa is a dangerous, active volcano...and my tiny little guy is, well, not so threatening. Unless you're a bug :).
Decided to name my Ambilobe female Java, since it's another Indonesian Island. And her colors often look like a cup of java.
I named my 2.5 month old ambilobe male Krakatoa, after the volcanic island of Indonesia. His father, Son Tiger, is one fiery looking panther. Hopefully mine will be too! There are strong hints of red coming in....wish I had a good DSLR!
Lol, the second to last pic's caption could read "if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands..."
And update/edit...I had their ages a bit wrong. The male's age is closer to 2.5 months, and the female 3.5 months. Male's clutch hatch: 3/2-3/30- almost a month! And Female: 1/29-2/18. I just...

Hey, can somebody recommend a great reptile expo in the LA, east TX, MS area? I am willing to drive all day for a great expo. I plan on going to Repticon at Baton Rouge near the end of July, though I know not to expect to be overwhelmed. Thanks.
The male's (little guy) sire is Son Tiger. Photo is from KK's website.
The female's sire is Thunder, which at the moment, I cannot find his picture. Bummer, because Thunder is gorgeous.
Just thought I'd share my Miomantis paykullii ooth setup. They should be hatching in the next couple weeks, where I will feed them my fruit flies. I hear they can be a communal species. Anyone with experience with these guys want to chime in? I plan on raising them up, feeding some off to my...
Just thought I'd share some pictures of my new ambilobes from Kammerflage Kreations. Male is about 2.8 months, female is about 3.3 months. I've had them for a week now and took them outside for the first time. Their colors sure did change when I took them out. Normally the male is a contrast of...
