    Dubias vs. Crickets?

According to this http://doubleds.org/contactus.html, dubias have more protein, but otherwise similar nutritionally. B. Dubias are a breeze to breed, which helps offset the cost of keeping chams. But I will admit, my chams seem to enjoy crickets more than any other feeder. Their slow, clumsy...

Lazy H crickets: two thumbs up!

Funny how chams can be picky eaters, huh? Kinda like kids. I've fed my chams "exotic" feeders such as dubias, mealworms, waxworms, Egyptian mantids, with varying interest ranging from "maybe I'll take a bite", "OK, but it's not my favorite," to "No way!"... But everybody's favorite is the humble...

Lazy H crickets: two thumbs up!

Hey Anne, I've been very busy lately and hardly have time to get on the forums. How are your babies doin'? I know he sells mealworms as well, but not sure about other feeders. I only occasionally order crickets, and lazy H is the best so far. As you know, I breed dubias and that's their main...

Lazy H crickets: two thumbs up!

Just wanted to say that I was very happy with my bulk cricket order from them. I know some members here recommend them, so I gave Brad a call. Superb packaging...better than my previous supplier. Serious over count. Consistent sizes. And...great price! They are setting up a website soon, but you...

Exo Terra Incubator Failure-Panther Chameleon Eggs

Wow, what an awful experience. I am wary of incubators. I have an old hovabator, but I wouldn't trust panther eggs with it.

    My panther boys

Thank you! going by your avatar, could you compare the colors of your Cham at 4 months, to him as an adult? I'm hoping Krakatoa will get a lot more vivid.

Yeah, I have been looking at gram scales. Saw a very nice, accurate, good-rangeed one that was intended for large birds and came with a wooden perch. It's on my "to buy" list!

what makes me nervous is Kraken seems bigger (just look at the base of his tail!), but is about a month younger than Krakatoa! Think I am gonna up Crack-A-Toe's food so he can beef up. Kraken also seemed to be more "puffy" than Crack-A-Toe during picture time...he's a little more nervous. Hope...
