Im using a regular 75watt bulb. I just put the temp gauge back in (temporarily misplaced during the move) and its at about 80 after 15 minutes. So I was assuming thats not too hot.

Looks good. I would suggest some thin dowels as horizontal pathways. Cheap and easy to put in and my cham is always on them since I put them in.

Is he 5 months old..or have you had him for 5 months. When I first got my male veiled a little over a month ago I was told he was about 3 or 4 months. So I would guess hes ~5 mos now and hes nowhere near as big. The casque isnt even close. Im wondering if I should up his food some more.

How do you feed them on a permanent free range?? Just let crickets roam around your house?? Thats the one thing that I always questioned about free ranges.
