Yeah that brand is fine. My biggest advice is to make sure you have your new friends home set up BEFORE you get him or her, and to do as much research as possible. Plan on having lots of bugs, and don't buy a cham from a petstore try looking at the classifieds here. Have fun!
He or she is probably a vieled chameleon if you are in Florida, near fort myers area, they have proven to stay alive even through our super cold seasons so I wouldn't worry about it. They have been established in florida for about 10 years.
I would say no to be on the safe side. in addition the plant doesnt offer big branches or any could climbing spots if you like flowers get a hibiscus! they are edible and beautiful
One time my dog started smelling one of my oustelets and my cham just walked right onto my dogs nose! I pulled him off before wehad any problems, but its nice to have harmony in the house!
