How thick of glass did u get? If you were worried about cracking the glass, what made u get the glass in first place? Done properly you shouldnt have a prob. as long as u got the right thickness of glass..

You can get the glue on type.....or measure and take to glass shop and they can drill holes where u need to install metal hinges...

We dont think its all bad....just "aquarium" style tanks that are bad.....the protean has a subfloor vent, like the exo terra/zoomed terrariums do. There usage was covered in several threads over the past couple of years. That protean is WAY overpriced...IMO....I know how much glass costs...

Since Im a believer of raining water on my chams instead of misting them, I like the reptariums cause they drain so well. BUT, I do like the door on standard aluminum ones to.....Took me awhile..:o...to get used to the zippers on the reptariums.
