    Variety

I had a problem with little black ants for a few days (until i found out that if you feed them uncooked grits, they swell and die. Nice organic way to kill them for anyone who ever needed one...) and the ants found the little bit of food I leave in the chameleon cages to sustain the fruit...

HR 669 - Nonnative Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act

This particular bill isn't currently being discussed in Canada, as far as I know. However, you can bet that it will effect the breeders there. I know I got my panthers shipped from Canada, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

HR 669 - Nonnative Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act

Personally, I think it has very little to do with Democrat or Republican views. Its my opinion that its more relevant to news stories in recent history about burmese pythons among others that are now thriving in Florida and moving northward along the coast. Don't tell me I'm the only one here...

Could I use this for a Cham

It would be pretty easy to cut out the sides if you are at all familiar with a dremel tool... I've built cages out of much more difficult things. Screen isn't expensive, and it looks to have good potential...I'd grab it, if I were you.

HR 669 - Nonnative Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act

I'd suggest that everyone do EVERYTHING they can, including email, paper letters, twitter, facebook, myspace... and EVERYTHING ELSE!! For some of us, its not only our pets, but our living at stake! Pets are bad enough to lose, but our jobs and income as well??

I received an email today from Vince at Screameleons. I thought it warranted posting. I've contacted my state reps, I thought many of you might want to as well. It read as follows: "Guys, We don't normally send out emails like this. Again, if you don't wish to receive updates from us...

    Who's behind the name?

Ok, anonymity has its place, but not here :p My name is Brittany, but don't call me that. Call me Brit, or don't call me at all ;) I'm new to the forum but not to keeping chameleons and other reptiles. About 10 years ago, I had a 6ft female iguana, a pair of bearded dragons, and a male...

    PetSmart : Brown Skin

Pet Stores...Ugh... I have seen so many sad little veiled chameleons in pet stores. Doesn't matter what chain. The problem is, they don't really care about proper husbandry, only about the quick sale. Most keep them in glass terrariums and the poor little guys just scratch at the sides... My...

I'm praying for the poor guy...and for you... I very recently had the same experience with a very young male panther chameleon. We have no idea what caused this problem. When it started he was healthy, active, and happy. His name was Sparky. He went downhill so quickly, it was very alarming...
