I had a problem with little black ants for a few days (until i found out that if you feed them uncooked grits, they swell and die. Nice organic way to kill them for anyone who ever needed one...) and the ants found the little bit of food I leave in the chameleon cages to sustain the fruit...
Even if you are not of voting age, you can still contact your state reps and express your opinions. they have no way of knowing your age unless you tell them
This particular bill isn't currently being discussed in Canada, as far as I know. However, you can bet that it will effect the breeders there. I know I got my panthers shipped from Canada, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
Personally, I think it has very little to do with Democrat or Republican views. Its my opinion that its more relevant to news stories in recent history about burmese pythons among others that are now thriving in Florida and moving northward along the coast. Don't tell me I'm the only one here...
It would be pretty easy to cut out the sides if you are at all familiar with a dremel tool... I've built cages out of much more difficult things. Screen isn't expensive, and it looks to have good potential...I'd grab it, if I were you.
I'd suggest that everyone do EVERYTHING they can, including email, paper letters, twitter, facebook, myspace... and EVERYTHING ELSE!! For some of us, its not only our pets, but our living at stake! Pets are bad enough to lose, but our jobs and income as well??
