The red bar pic is the earliest one I have of him. It's from the first day i got him. He was 4 months old then. The second picture is fairly recent and is what he looks like now at roughly 9 months in age.
I tried keeping mine outside but I had numerous problems with ants and the crickets dying because I believe it got too cold at night (weird in SoCal, I know). I have since move both crickets and Dubia in the garage and have had much more success.
Mine is about 9 months old and he never fires up or gets angry. Just super mellow all the time. I've tried putting him in front of mirrors but he doesn't care.
Like people, some are quick tempered and some are really laid back.
I live in Southern California and I just saw one of these for my first time about 6 months ago. Its a tarantula Hawk. Don't let it sting you because its supposed to be one of the worst around. Definitely do not feed it to your Cham.
The eye movement in the video can be normal. However, the chameleon in the video obviously has something wrong with his eye. It is swollen and and misshapen. If yours looks like that then i would suggest a vet visit.
