Just wanted to through this up here.

Harry (Chroma)
Drew (ChamNation)
Marty (MistKing)
Myself (Squamata Reptiles)
Will all have booths at the show.
Hope to see anyone that comes here stop...
You would get visually normal babies that would be 100% Het Albino and 50% Het Pied.
Females cost more then males because they produce the babies($$$) :P
If you did do that breeding combo, I would keep all the male babies (maybe females too if you have space), grow them up to breed back to...
It will be hitting the US soon I believe. Then hitting Canada sometime afterwards.
When it does hit the US, I'll be stocking up on around 200-300 bulbs lol.
Time to go through the list :P
Nosy Be Male 1, Very friendly, had some teenage anger he grew out of.
Nosy Be Male 2, Very friendly, was always good.
Nosy Be Female 1, Pretty friendly overall.
Nosy Be Female 2, Friendly, no problems with her.
Nosy Be Female 3, rather defensive, can be...
Except you don't seem to realize that the amount you mist daily is equal to about 1/2 the monthly amount they get in Madagascar monthly between April - October. It's also pretty close to the amount of rain that Veileds see naturally between June - November.
Now, I agree since you have a...
When people constantly suggest things that are harmful to others animals without looking into the reasoning behind their recommendations, yes you can claim I have an attitude.
I'm simply tired of seeing the same "d3 2x per month MAX" repeated by anyone that's ever seen it posted by anyone else...
Assuming Flukers has the IU/Kg that I remember, using it daily is perfectly fine
The other two don't understand that different brands have different quantities.
Unless you know his brand you can't state this.
This is only true while using RepCal Brand Calcium + D3.
This is just completely wrong.
There has yet to be a problem with Exo-Terra CFL Bulbs.
Was there any facts behind that?
There's no problem using D3 regularly, assuming the dosage is correct.
Also 4k iu/kg, you would STILL need a d3 dusting supplement using that, it simply doesn't give anywhere close to enough d3.
Well, considering it's a mercury vapour bulb, there's a chance it would turn itself off every now and again due to the temperature, but regardless, 24/7 heat/uvb would seriously screw up their schedules.
I'm betting more then likely it was dehydration however, depending how long he was gone...
Actually it's rather fine.
You'll win the lottery before you have an issue with ingestion of this substrate(In small quantities).
I've been using it for beardies for a long while now, they've always occasionally licked up a few pieces, no issues to date.
If you're worried about things...
I disagree.
It's more likely he's D3 deficient then have been over-supplemented with Zoomed ReptiCalcium.
It just doesn't have enough IU/Kg to overdose a Cham.
I fully believe they do.
As some others have mentioned they've had Chams turn on them at 6-12 months, then after that go back to wanting to be handled.
It's definitely strange, but hormones cause everyone to do crazy things :D
The only flaw with that post is that you don't mention Brands of Calcium +D3.
Dusting Daily with Flukers/Exo-Terra/Zoomed Brand Calcium with D3 is definitely viable. It also helps eliminate the Spiky dosing of using RepCal.
I know of several breeders that have swapped from RepCal to other...
