Chameleon breeding takes alot of work and dedication. Almost as much as school. What do your parents think of your idea? If thier ok with it then please, please, start small. Only breed a pair once to see how it goes. Once you raise those babies, get more if you enjoy it.

thanks for the advice... My chow is not that wet, I am able to form it. It is a little thicker than tooth paste but not hard.
As for contamination, I dont know.... I never touched any parts of the container after it was sterilized with rubbing alcohol...
maybe ill just buy 3 or 4 next...

Ive been trying to breed crickets for 6 mths now. The dirt had to be misted and kept moist. Potting soil mixed with sand works well. I havent worried about covering the containers because the males should leave them alone if they have enough food.

I tried wood with marine grade and it didnt last very long, I plan to use a wood bottom, but with corregated carboard ontop , Vinly flooring, ir bat surround sheetine, then silicone all arourd the bottom to seal, These will work with drain systems too at a fraction of the cost of pvc.

Wow! Good for you! You're setup looks perfect! Because of its size you dont need to worry about having screen sides for ventilation, maybe just a fan to circulate the air a little. Im sure your cham will love it in there! Its almost as big as the jungle. lol
