    Help!

No no no don't give up. My advice would be to do extensive research on chameleons because they are truly awesome animals. I'm sorry about your little girl:/ do some research make sure you are able to get and keep a decent variety of gutloaded insects and have a proper setup for a chameleon...

    Veiled chameleon habitat

I use an infrared temperature gun to get my chams direct heat and I can just point at any part of the cage to tell what the temps are. Its very helpful and I know it is accurate and you can get them pretty cheap. mine was like 15 online. Just a suggestion. I am skeptical of the reptile products...

    Veiled chameleon habitat

Is that your chams temp while basking or the spot? Because sitting there your cham will be a few inches closer to the lamp. Why I like checking my chams temp directly. I use paper towels too very easy clean up.

To Be or not to be?

I bought green garden gloves lol I used to be afraid of stressing my girl out and her biting me lol but really you just gotta come at them slow with the gloves on lol and pick them up. Once on your hand they're pretty chill. Show him some sun light for a few minutes then put him back inside. Or...

    Veiled chameleon habitat

Substrate is usually not recommended because of them striking at it and becoming impacted, mold issues, kind of makes cleaning difficult also. What is his temp basking? Males can go with about a 90 degree basking temp. You could try a smaller wattage bulb as well.

    Veiled ready to lay eggs?

That is a lot of food for a female and at that age of a cham. I give my girl a couple medium feeders a day and sometimes Ill skip a day, this slows down egg production too. it sounds like she could be ready to lay. What are your bin dimensions? 5 gal bucket with playsand works fine for me and...

    Hoax or not, you decide.

I agree and if he truly cared he wouldn't have been throwing them back in there and leaving them rapped up in the mesh. Get the footage and and put them in a suttable tank is what I would've done. But we could always go look through the trash ourselves.. why would they throw money away too...

I don't think tomatoes should be in a chams diet. I believe they're toxic. Have you tried looking for feeder suppliers of the internet. Where are you located?

    Camille is finally digging!

Yes she is good at keeping me worried but I think the toughest part so far was this receptive and egg laying thing. About a month ago before she started acting strange I had her outside to clean the cage and it was hot enough for her to start gaping. Then her appetite decreased started showing...

    Camille is finally digging!

She seems to be fine just been basking a lot, I fed her well and gave her some calci worms and watered her well. I wonder what caused so many eggs to produce? I keep her temps low and don't feed too much. Do you think an increased temp being outside could push her into cycling?

    Camille is finally digging!

    Camille is finally digging!

Well her bin is in the cage. It only seemed to make sense because its like 70-73 in the sand I'm assuming. And all that work would drain there heat right?
