They are really tiny when they hatch, and they are generally pretty hard to sex, but experienced breeders can pick out the hemipenal bulge of males early on.

Was the white part large, or relatively small? If what you saw was white and small, then it is only a portion of the poop. There should be some dark brown chunks lying around somewhere. If there was a really large white spot, I have no idea what to think of that.
