1. no need to use a wet gutload, that is not a sufficient way to get the calcium/phosporus rate straight and it is not adding enough vitamins
3. only use T-Rex calcium cricketfood as a gutload
I'm new to chams ... but even looking at this from a common sense perspective, something doesnt...
Hey Lala,
The same thing happened with mine when I got him (about a month ago). Now that hes been with me for a month, he's calmed down a little bit and gotten used to his new home, so he shows his colors much more often.
He was dark for like the first 3 weeks, so maybe yours is still just...
Thanks! He's shed twice in the time that I've had him and he has gotten more and more vibrant each time ... I'm excited to see what he will look like in a few months :)
Sorry to hear ... I wish I was experienced enough to offer advice, but I'm still a novice.
What I can say is it looks like you did your very best, so don't guilt yourself too hard about his passing.
I've been waiting for my little homie to start showing his colors, and yesterday he came to the front of the cage and 'put on his suit', so I took advantage. I've had him about a month so I've just been waiting for him to get settled before I start busting in his cage with a camera.
Male nosy...
My personal experience with these enclosures is more negative than positive. For me, I like something that is solid and stable. These seemed kind of flimsy.
I wasnt able to wedge dowels or branches in between the walls that would be secure enough. I've also heard crickets can chew through...
Thats what I was thinking ... I'll catch a bunch of adults and keep them in there until I see babies running around. Remove the big ones (and dead ones) and I should be golden!
Before any of that though, I'll be posting pics of my catch to ensure I've caught the right ones.
I'm looking to start an Isopod 'farm', but the best way for me to obtain them would be to catch wild ones. I know that they are known for being high in heavy metals, so my question is how do I rid them of toxins?
If I catch a few and just let them live in an enclosure for a few months (They...
Where I live it is not so warm either and also very dry. After getting a 100W light and a warm mist humidifier, I have zero problems maintaining proper levels in an all screen enclosure.
Everytime I see Bill Murray I just picture Woody Harrelson multi fist pumping "BILL F***IN MURRAY!!"
Thats all I have to add ... I played wow for st patty's day:o Not a drinker lol
I always wondered everytime I saw your name, DekuScrub, if you were a Zelda fan. Clearly you are!
I've read the entire potter series and watched all the movies ... As far as my 'Zelda career', I've played through Link to the past, Half of Majoras mask (hated it), Ocarina of time about 20...
Don't even get me started man... the most ridiculous ones are 'legal' because they are 'native' to Canada. But the exotic breeds are illegal. <Shakes fist>
I'm going to make a post after I find out more about the permits, because I'm sure other Canadians would like to know.
