Is there any way to tell his age?

Thanks :) as soon as I got him (he was a christmas present) I made sure i read up on everything he needs and obviously joined this forum, which has been the best thing I've done! There's so much useful information here. To be fair though my boyfriend did a LOT of research when building his...

Trying to make a feeding schedule...

Thanks! That's really helpful. I didn't really want to just stick to crickets so i think i'll vary his diet as much as possible. I'll probably be the same with feeding him too much. My boyfriend recently told me off because my female leopard gecko was looking a little tubby so I cut down on...

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any advice on feeding? I have an (aprox) 1 year old male veiled cham. I've only had him since christmas so I'm still trying to figure out what he likes. Obviously I know a lot of people stick to crickets as the main food source, is that the norm? At the...

Is there any way to tell his age?

Wow thanks for all the advice guys - ok answers to questions! Firstly for RichardTexasHerp - Thanks! My boyfriend built the enclosure for me, he's a joiner (I have a feeling that in the USA you don't call them joiners, maybe a carpenter would be a better description?) Brad Ramsay - The...

Is there any way to tell his age?

Oh right! So he shouldn't grow much more then? I do have a Ficus plant to put in there with him I just didn't want to overcrowd him. Thanks for the advice though, I'll put it in for him shortly!

Is there any way to tell his age?

Ok, here are the pics of Cassius and his enclosure. Any opinions, tips etc. will be greatly appreciated as I still have a lot to learn. In the enclosure pics he has wood chip substrate...I have since found out (from this site) that that's very bad, so I've removed it...now he just has paper towels.

    Substrate Question...

Hi, At the minute my cham's enclosure has a wood chip substrate on the floor. I've only had him since xmas. Since joining this forum I've seen that most people think that no substrate at all is best. Just now however, I came accross a fleeting reference in a post to wood chips causing...

Is there any way to tell his age?

Hi, I got my first chameleon (and his amazing enclosure) for christmas. He is a male veiled called Cassius. I was just wondering if there's any way to estimate his age? Apparently the people at the pet shop weren't very helpful information-wise. He is about 11" long including his tail, his...
