His casque appears to have been burned at some point.
From the pic's, I don't see blinding symptoms of "bone density" problems, he looks rather good, considering. The slight angle of the front leg that is showing in the pic looks like "muscle definition" to me, not "MBD". I think he will be...
Be careful with the fake plants, if one of your chams manages to get a leaf off and swallow it, problems could arise.
Hibiscus are great in cham cages (if you can keep them alive  ), but you may find that any blooms disappear pretty quickly.
Some other popular cham plants are...
Yes they have "teeth" of sorts and can bite..... hard if needed...
Just curious if anyone checked the link I provided in my first post? Specifically the part that says "Click here to hear a WAV file recorded by Kenneth Barnett" ? Are those not chameleon "noises" in the literal sense...
Unfortunately I have had quite a bit of experience in this area.
Like Hairfarm and Heika have already said, never shoot down the throat, let it drip on the tongue/sides of mouth and let the chameleon swallow.
The approach varies from chameleon to chameleon depending on their disposition. In...
Not sure if this is what you are looking for... Check the link at the bottom of the page...

No matter what you do, it's gonna cost you, unfortunately you waited a little to long to get started. I start my fly cultures months before I expect hatchlings......

LOL, thanks guys! I love the pic too.. I took it during cage cleaning and if you look close you can see the water spots that were all over the lens! LOL, figures
A standard household incandescent bulb works just fine.
I may be way off here, but your initial concerns about your cham "sucking in his body" makes me think...... "You don't see me, I'm not here"... It's a fear response......
Add another vote for the Rainmaker!
Yes Brad and I would like to add something(s)....
You might also want one that can run dry. I have used both the Rainmaker Jr and the Rainmaker I and love both of them. The downsides to the Jr. are that it can't run dry and can't run for more than 5...
The domain name was lost. I know Kathie Kaiwi (the owner) is working hard to restore the Journals under the domain name ChameleonJournals.org, so watch for it to come up!
Thanks!! I think he's a stunner too! AND, he has a personality to match!
When I got him as a baby sambava I had high hopes of breeding, but as you can tell he is not sambava, so he has never been bred and never will. So, unfortunately I can't answer your question on his ability with any...
LOL, very cute Jim!
I have a male panther that has had two intestinal prolapses and is still with me almost a year later.... Is he a healthy as he could be?......... No. I often times wonder if I did the right thing putting him through 2 surgeries, but at the time it seemed like the best...
Ummmm..... unfortunately yes, I've seen it before. It's a prolapse of some kind (intestinal/hemipenal). You were right in telling him to take the cham to the vet ASAP, time is critical!!
Search some older threads, I know there has been some "prolapse" talk.
