    Outdoor Custom Enclosures

Great looking pics! Could you take some pics of your feeder cup and explain how to made it?! I'd like to do something like that as I don't really like free roaming crickets. I'll soon be moving to roaches once they reproduce enough but they also like to hide. Thanks, John

    building your own cages...

SSSooooo I can't use the pressure treated wood. So my only other option is to purchase normal wood and water seal it. Question on the aluminum ones...What's it cost to make them? How would you cut the aluminum with out pinching the ends? I don't care to much if they look like the commercial...

I will have to look for that just for the screen. Still gonna go with wood over aluminum because I have no experience with it. Good idea though.

    building your own cages...

man I have so many great ideas now! I like the aluminum cages but I'm going to go with wood for simplicity. I plan on making 2 double level 5ft long cage racks so to speak. The cages will be 1ft wide, 2ft depth, and 3ft high. I got the cage size from some other breeders I've seen. I figure I can...

Chameleon Breeding! Questions Incubator And I Am New!

Your not likely going to get 130 eggs. I had 3 females drop and I have 125 eggs. Clutches extremely large aren't common average would probably be between 30-55 in my experience although much larger clutches are possable. You could just snag a cooler and use heat tape or a heat lamp. I currently...

    hello, new here

Gilas and Beadeds are very similar. I never kept gilas because do to the humidity down here in Florida they just don't seem to do to well. They are both egg layers. I'm pretty sure gilas have 2 or 3 venom glands while beadeds only have 1. My beadeds were very calm. I'd reach into their cage with...

    hello, new here

I keep them on my patio currently but I'm working on setting up my 19 x 10 garage. No employees, currently I have a close friend helping out a little but this is mainly my deal. I work for fire rescue, my shifts are 24hrs on and 72hrs off so I have plenty of time to take care of everyone. I...

    Adult Male Veileds True Size

I have a friend with a MONSTER male veiled. Not sure on his length but he's gotta be 24" plus! I'll see if he wouldn't mind me taking pics. It's one of his favorites for good reason, he's got amazing color! He is a FL W.C. you wouldn't know looking at him, he's flawless! John

    Crazy temps in ambilobe

They seem to do great outside here in FL. I have seen them from time to time open their mouth but on especially hot days they get extra misting. Eventually I need to get a watering system! John

    Feeding ideas....help

I have 100 eggs in the incubator and one of my females is gravid. My plan is to keep back a ton of them and get them started on roaches from the get go. These adults are a pain in the butt! I gave in today and put a bunch of crickets in the enclosure. I guess after today I'll starve them a bit...

    Feeding ideas....help

I've been trying to switch my w.c. florida veileds over to roaches with mixed success. They surely prefer crickets but I can't stand them. Ontop of that I'd like to get them to eat out of a container rather then throwing the food item all over the cage. I put a bunch of roaches in a sterilite...
