I notice my cham had develop a dark / black spot with she recent shed. So, I wonder if anyone has any idea what causing it and perhaps a recommendation of treatment. Thanks.
Digital timer for mister is recommended as it can program the unit with minute basis whereas ordinary timer for lighting would do the work just fine.
If you are very serious in humidities controlling, perhaps you may consider getting a digital humidities controller.....
Wouldn't the droplet from ordinary shower hose be too large and pointed? I suggest change it to a nozzle to get the best effect. Won't cost much though.
Hi all, it's been almost 2 yrs I stay inactive with this hobby mainly because I needs to taking care of my new born child.

Thanks roo, your comments really help me in settup the unit. In fact, I never thought of the "dry out period" for the cage, so I will have this humidities controller work in conjunction with a timer.
Indeed, it's hard to find a decent low cost humidities controller in the internet. To me, I...

Hi Karen,
It was hard for me to find a reptile shop 10 years ago while I was study in UK at south Walse. Still, I'll visit garden centre every Sunday to look for special pets:p .
Oh BTW, a very nice carpet you've got there.
I found a diaphragm pump (similar mech design as the big apple one) that made from italy only cost US$10 each that work pretty good with a single nozzle. So, I had equipped a few for my cham cage.:D
Herewith the web site of this pump for your interest....
