    I defintely don't doubt 500 is to many I know that i can keep more than fifty. I Kept 50 3/4 to 1 inch in my small one with no prob when they are climbing up the tubes and what not.

    I've seen my female veiled eat soil a couple times. I'm not sure why she gets TONS of water and food. She's not gravid or anything like that but she'll sit around the outside of her pot and shoot her tongue at the dirt. I need to cover it with rocks : )
