Yeah i know those work great I just heard so much on the leo forums that the heat tape is the thing to use for dubia. Hopefully some one has a tip or some experience and can help me out.

Chams turn black/darker to absorb the sunrays and warm up their bodies. Just like when your outside in a black shirt, it absorbs more heat.

For drainage you can pick up a PVC 2" drainage cap from pretty much at any hard ware store and cut a hole in the bottom with a 2inch hole saw. Then connect either some 2" hosing or pvc if you wish and pipe it to your drainage bucket.
