I am no expert either, but i asked a question about eye drops just a few days ago, and was told pure saline solution can be used to rinse chams eyes out.
Anybody have any idea why they moved this post to the photography section, as it has nothing to do with pictures. i originaly posted it under breeding, but it was moved. thanks
Not sure if anybody else has posted this yet but here is a link to a online article about breeding carpet chameleons i found. enjoy!

I think i read a while back or maybe saw on another care sheet, that refresh tears (eye drops) could be used to clean out our chams eyes if they ever get a eye problem. is this true or am i mistaken? i ask because i am headed to target in the morning and want to pick some up just to be prepared...
jojackson, Your the one who said he didnt handle them right in your first post..so my point once again is he handled them just fine!... anyways dont bash the dead guy.
ancientcritters , i have it saved also, i have been trying to figure out the best way to transfer it ...my dvr box has a usb...
Anybody know what this stuff actually is...it is called blue cricket water, kind of looks like blue jello. one of my local pet store sells it unmarked in containers anywhere from 1-3 dollars depending on size. i am just wondering if anybody actually knows what this stuff is. thanks
I think he handled the chameleons just fine...i would assume most wild chams dont like to be handled, no matter how good u handle them...give the guy a break he did great things for reptiles!!!
It is worth the watch! the whole show was good, i missed the first 5 mins , but i got the rest on dvr. i was suprised at all the chams... man i miss steve irwin he was great at what he did.
really cool , chameleon show on animal planet right now(crocodile hunter:reptiles of the lost continent, madagascar) that is its on right now if u live on the west coast(uas) and have comcast.
suprised how many chameleons they are showing.
Thanks...i will go with the worm kit. I have been to like 6 different places around town and nobody has them. So I am finally giving in and going to order them online.
So i want to get some silkworms, so i can offer my cham some more diversity in his diet. as of now his main food is crickets with waxworms as a treat. anyways my question is do u think i should order the egg kit or the worm kit from coastal silkworms , here is a link ...
I wouldnt worry about it , since you are going home tommorow...i made the same mistake once i few years back when i had a beardie, i went away to havasu and forgot to flip the switch on the timer and same thing three days of constant fake sun. he was fine i just gave hinm 24 hrs of dark.
dont...
I have been trying for 2 weeks now, he ate it tonight right away, so i gave him another and the same thing...gone! i know not to many(high in fat), i wont be offering anymore for atleast a week. Im just so happy i had to share.:)
