I have a female panther that has laid her third clutch of eggs about a week ago. All of which look fertile. Does anyone with experience know when she should be receptive again? I can tell when they are receptive I basically want to know if female panthers usually do become receptive after three...

Your eggs wont make it 6+ months is a pot. You need specific temps and humidity to hatch eggs. Leaving them in a pot is not smart.

I prefer perlite.

Karebare dont freak out that female is totally receptive. Julirs is just being a hater. She looks to be in perfect shape and size. If that were my female she would be laying a few clutches by now. Jim is 100% right. If you dont know what a non receptive female looks like you will in a few days...

Well i got back home today and found the female alot thinner and I soon uncovered 16 eggs. Thanks for the reply !

My female panther chameleon is starting to dig 29 days after mating. How deep should the substrate be in the laying bucket? She has dug about 5 diffrent holes in moist dirt but she keeps abondoning the holes. I am not disturbing her. Im thinking shes just not ready yet.:confused:
