I ended up getting a zoo med therm/hygrometer.. I just have one question for calibrating and I'm not sure that it even makes a difference..
When I put everything into the ziplock bag, do I want to leave some air in there or try to squeeze as much out as possible?
I recently brought my cham and his cage outside to give it a quick cleaning. I let him crawl around on some of the plants in my backyard, until I noticed him shooting at some insects. I saw that he was going for a spider so I got him off of there.
Are there any plants that I should keep him...
Thanks! I am in the US, so unfortunately I would need some other recommendations. Does anyone here order feeders that arrive within a few days? I would love to be able to place orders every week instead of breeding roaches, etc.
My guy used to seem to be afraid of it, but now he loves it. Makes sure you mist for a while.. he might just be scared of it initially, and then come around. That's what happened with me anyway.
I'm in Oregon too, where are you located? I am on the coast in North Bend. I'm looking for other cham owners in Oregon that might have different feeder bugs that I could buy (or maybe eventually trade my own bugs) to create a varied diet for my guy. Anyone in Oregon have a nice collection of...
I have a small screened cage, with a large one on the way. I have a cheap little thermometer that I have been using to try and take readings and I can't help but think it's inaccurate. What is a good reliable thermometer/hygrometer that I can buy? Thanks!
I just read another post and saw a question about potting soil. I am currently using one like this:

Is this safe or should I switch it out? Thanks!
I am totally with you. I just got my cham a couple weeks ago, and my wife is already grossed out by crickets.. I am struggling to find something else to introduce into his diet, but I don't know what my wife will tolerate.. proobbbably not roaches. She sent me a picture yesterday of a cricket...
Thanks for the recommendations. I ended up going with this:

This is what you guys were suggesting, right?
Great thanks a lot! I just heard about diycages.com as well... Does anyone have one of these? It looks like they are the same design as the reptibreeze only made with sturdier materials. I'm looking to order a cage tonight so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
