OMG thats crazy crazy crazy to take any animal there. Even say for some insane reason that the chameleon isnt in some type of distress, to take such an animal around that many people endangers its life and well being in many more ways than one.
I highly recommend having a male panther as a starter cham, the only difference in care is they drink more and require much more tropical temps and humidity. I also find that adult male veilds are more likely to be aggresive than adult male panthers, but i guess it just depends on who you talk to.
