I agree, I would rather someone tell me that i wasnt doing something correctly then let me harm an animal. You said he has other pets too, so i doubt he is the kind of person that would want to see them suffer.
I think a good way to tell him is to support him. Print out a caresheet or make...
I had these when i was keeping Mantids, they were great little bugs :D
I couldnt get Peanut to eat them though :( So when the Mantids died out my mini colony (they wouldnt breed for me, i guess too cold) went to my brothers Beardies.
Tiff they will be fine... they arent as 'ewwwww'...
She may just need time to settle in considering you just got her :)
Give her a couple of days and keep and eye... but not to close, give her some space.
Good luck Andy with your new little lady :D You'll be able to experience the "joy" of cham egg laying soon! :p
She really is queen of her castle there :D
We have one of them trees planted in the garden, it looks so cool all twisted and stuff. Its a shame it was planted where it was, doesnt get much sun so isnt suitable for Peanut.
Tommy looks great Tiff :D
Some really cool snaps!
I'm glad to hear he is taking the big wide world with a bit more ease now :D You'll be able to really enjoy the summer with him when it hits us fully
That was taken on the little mountain icon... she really doesnt like my camera, and that was taken at quite a distance.
Isnt that what we are here for?! To spoil our little friends, hehe :D
Thanks everyone :D
She really did look happy to be outside, she got a bit hissy when I decided it was getting a bit cold.
Flu (the tortoise) is a crafty one and you really do need to keep your eye on her. She headbutts your feet if they are in the way and she wants to walk past. She wont...
Do a quick search, there is a lot of info on her about pygmies :D
Incubation is not a problem, you can leave the eggs in the enclosure to hatch naturally :D Just make sure you are able to get your hands on smaller food items incase you do have babies.
They are one of the few chams that...
Its the fruit tree type Tiff.
Its not very tall at the moment maybe 2', but i have it in a large pot which i hope it will grow nicely into. I can move it around the garden, albeit slowly, the thing is quite heavy!
Cant wait for the leaves to come back fully, it looked quite impressive...
He looks like a lovely animal :D
Hope he is enjoying his outside enclosure
Make sure you hydrate him well, his eyes look a bit sunken...could be that he was afraid or something but i'd imagine they loose hymidity quicker out in the sun.
