Dubia dont breen unless they are in high temperatures (>85-90). Also its almost impossible for them to excape a properly setup colony since they cant climb, fly or jump.
Sounds like everyone actually goes out and buys food just for the roaches. I throw in whatever fruits/veggies I havent eaten for the week. Usually they are starting to go brown, but the roaches dont care.

Here's an interesting theory. Have you moved the light since the burn? This could slow down his metabolism.
Could he potentially be not going as close to the light because of the burn?
Dubia are the best!!! Just throw in what ever veggies are left in the fridge at the end of the week and you're good to go. You seriously only need to clean out every 3 months (as long as they eat all the food).
Sad to hear that. It is a beautiful thing watching such an amazing specimen, such as a chameleon, go through their full life cycle. It really does amaze me that animals with such short life spans have been able to survive 10's-100’s of times longer than the human have existed.
quartz glass will allow UV rays to pass. Be warned though it is very expensive.
If anyone here took P-Chem, the special cuvettes, that were used to allow UV rays to pass in the spectrophotometer, were made of quartz as well.

Sorry typical veiled chameleon. They are usually nicer when they are young though, so that might be a sign of him not liking his cage.
