Alright so when i first got my little guy "Titus" he would eat 3-5 crickets a day he's now up to 10-15 crickets a day!!!! He's gotten quite the appetite now.
so i've had my little guy for almost a week now, and i've never seen him drinking put, i caught him drinking just a few minutes ago. He stopped and stared at me and then just studyed me, and wouldnt u know it, he went back to drinking as i watched :-D
If there is anyone in illinios whose got a cham and wants to meet up sometime this is the place to say :-) i would like to meet people in my state who can give me pointers for winter/ fall and spring season for people who have had chams for awhile
he's about 2-3 months old and teh crickets are 1/4 of an inch. yes i have all the supplement on the crickets i mixed them in a bowl then drop teh crickets inside and eh crickets cover themselves in teh supplement. then i move teh crickets over into the feeding cup.
also FYI i knew he's eating the crickets that i said before because i hand feed them to him. I've seen him eat a crickets outa the cup once. But im not sure if he has gone back since. since im not home all day to see this.
I just got my veiled cham tuesday. and the first day he ate 3 crickets, and yesterday he ate 5-6 crickets, i leave a feeder cup inside his cage while im away and im not sure if the crickets r jumping out and if he is eating them. I'm wondering if him eating so little will cause much problems or...
I've seen my little guy eat atleast 3 1/4 crickets today. i think he mayhave eatena few more that i didnt see. You think this is decent for it being his first day and being in a new environment??
he is a male veil, the cage is 16x16x30 my camera im using is like 5 or 6 years old so the quality isnt good, the humidity stays round 40-55% when dry the basking is bout 80-85 degress. im using a 5.0 reptirun 18"
