    Cage Cleaning Frequency

Well, first congrats on the new cham:) Ok, what I do for my chams is if I'm just spot cleaning I dont bother to take them out. Once every other day to every three days I'll spot clean. I make sure there is clean water every day (wash out bowl and all), If I'm doing a larger cleaning once a week...

    New Cham!

I just wanted to introduce everyone to my new chameleon, Bruce, he is a Nosy Be Panther Chameleon from Chroma Chameleons. He's about 4-5months old and is already a gorgeous blue. I can't wait to see how he turns out. By the end of the week I shall have pictures of him and my little lady, Arda. I...

    Hibiscus keepers

I find they drop all of their leaves if there is any major change in environment (or even small ones). Simply moving the plant will encourage it to drop everything. Mine did and now, a few weeks later, it is blooming like mad.

    Chameleon Bedtime

My Arda usually sticks to one branch when asleep but today I had her out longer then I thought and she fell asleep on her tree. Now I can't get her off!! I tried and she hissed at me then went back to sleep. Oh well, looks like she's camping out tonight.

    I want your opinion

Definately you want to work out what your plans are. I hold my panther once every two to three days, but she has never shown signs of hissing, or aggrivation, and if she does for whatever reason I let her be (though the only time she does this is if she is shedding). And I usually just take her...

My beginning as a reptile rescue nut

Well, recently I rescued a lizard. This is the second one that has been adopted by my family (the first being an iguana), this one I saved is an adult beardie. I think that it is male (fairly certain, though not 100%), he was being kept in poor conditions, and wasn't handled properly, thus...

    Odd beardie. Need some advice.

    Odd beardie. Need some advice.

You misunderstand, I fed him calcium up until the last 4 days. He had the options of fresh greens, crickets and mealworms dusted with RepCal with a VD3 suppliment, at LEAST once a week (the dusting, not the greens). He stopped touching the crickets and the greens at a certain point and only ate...

    Odd beardie. Need some advice.

I didn't get him from a breeder, I wish I had. I got him from the store I work at. I was reccomended not to feed him that stuff from Big Al's. They were worried I might have poisoned him with to much greens. Now he has had a seizure as well, when I picked him up he seized and convulsed for a...

    Odd beardie. Need some advice.

Ok, to answer some questions. He is not fed pellets, I feed him insects, meal worms (he has stopped eating crickets), I make sure to buy them small. I will continue the vitamen powder, but I don't want to give him any vegtables right now. I've been told that carrots are poisonous to beardies. I...

    Odd beardie. Need some advice.

Well, I recently got a little baby bearded dragon and he's a sweety. But over the last 4 days he developed a weird "habit". Whenever he walks or goes after food his head goes from side to side, like a bobble head (those things are creepy). It isn't nodding, I'm certain of that, it's like he has...

    What would be?

I might just do that:D I just bought her a very lovely full screen enclosure. It is a bit big for her, but I have fed her successfully out of a cup and by hand so I'm not worried about her not being able to find food. Now that the cage is larger I will need more plants. Lol. She's going through...

    What would be?

She is roughly between 5-6 months based on her size. And colours are starting to develop with greens, oranges, and blues.

    What would be?

Re I've heard a lot of things about live plants causing problems, also they require extra care. How do you clean them anyway? I figured when she was a full adult I would get a large fiscus tree or something for her to climb on. But its hard to maintain heat in my area (I'm up in Canada, it gets...

    What would be?

Hi all, I'm not on much, but my little panther chameleon is growing up fast:) I'm quite proud of her (at least, I'm almost 98% certain she is female, how do you tell by the way? Her colours are coming in as oranges/greens/with a bold white line (sorta spotty) down her sides). But she is still...

    Help please

No, I mean literally, I have NO camera. My phone has to be replaced and wont be for a while. So far I've gotten him to eat a little by force feeding him cricket legs but that's about it:(.

    Help please

Unfortuntely no, I don't have a camera at all.

    Help please

Re: Info again I have transfered him to a 10gal aquarium temporarily. This is just so that if he has some sort of infection that it doesn't spread to my other cham. Ok, so his new stats are: No, I havn't noticed him do that. All I've seen him do is drink. He doesn't do much at all:( Cage...
