What colors can veileds change? and at what age do they start getting these colors. I know i've seen some pretty vibrant veileds.

While young veileds are shedding, do they have a decrease in appetite? Malachi would only eat about 5-6 crix a day for like 3 days, then he shed yesterday, ate about 15 crix today..... he didnt seem to slow his food intake down very much his first shed, so i was a bit worried.

my veiled likes to climb on the top of the cage and yesterday he let go with his front legs leaned down got a cricket and pulled himself back up, it looked as if he were doing a sit up, but upside down.....

yeah, I got my little guy about a month ago, makes him... almost 3 months old... he is an interesting guy.... likes to climb upsidedown alot..... and they shed alot at this age, im noticing......

this is an old picture of the enclosure, Ive taken out the red bulb and mounted a dome light with a regular house bulb on the wall for basking, ive also added a zebra plant and rearranged some of the vines from the pothos plant towards the top so he can hide a bit more under the leaves. Ill get...

my veiled is about 2 1/2 months old. got him about two weeks ago. When i brought him home and put him in his cage i went to place some crickets in there on the branches for him to see... before i got to the branch with the cricket he snatched it from my fingers... he wont eat from anyone elses...

he looked striaght at the camera, it was adorable

If the urates are white with some yellow and some brown, is that ok?

ooh i have another question..... I havent seen my cham drink yet. although i dont weatch him every minute of every day, how will i know if he is drinking or not before its too late

haha when i went to put mine in his cage, I had him on my hand, his back legs grabbing my finger and his front legs up in the air waving around looking for something to climb onto, then he kinda slipped, but his tail was around my pinky so it was all good lol

after having malachi (my veiled) for a full day now.. he decided to crawl upside down on the mesh on the top of the cage. when he did this, he turned color. i read that turning dark in color is not good. i tried taking a picture of his color. can you tell me why he did this? You guys are going...

the only fake plants i have in there are the vines. i wanted to give him a sense a security. i have a pothus plant in there as well though. as the pothus grows ill move it around the cage to fill it in a bit and mix the real plant with the fake vines.

Thank you. I have decided to name him Malachi. Which in hebrew means messenger of god. I was debating between malachi and marmion which means "small one". I think ill go with malachi though.
