This guy was sold to me as a envelope this guy was sold to me as a ambilobe by someone who sells chamelons on this website . He is about a year and a half old now. I bought him when he was very very young. As you can see now he is some kind of unique orange color. Selling for 225. Local pick...
My Panther male I had for a year now, bought him at 2-3 months now seems lazy. He is big and growing , and has good waste. Just seems after I switched to 70% Dubia 30% cricket ( both gut loaded with fresh veggies and fruit and properly dusted no longer is super active.
He does move through...
This was the 3 rd time this yearning went to the mid Hudson civic center reptile show in ny.
First time in January no chameleons , then in the spring 5 different venders, now in the fall there was 1 vender selling them
I was wondering if it's better to keep my chameleon outside these days, it still gets very sunny , but temps are from 80-55 at nite. There eating , drinking and shedding fine, just wanted to know it it's better back inside with heat lamps at 85 and uv bulbs ? There juvi panthers .
Wanted to know if anyone else keeps their chameleons outside, I live in New York ,it's warm now, humidity is pretty high, just concerned if the temperature is not dropping it off at night.
Any thoughts?
It's been a few weeks they seem to like it
I bring my chameleons outside when I can in the afternoon and put them in a Japanese maple, yesterday I noticed my 4 month old panther eating flies . Is that ok, I'm thinking no because of flies are on dog poop first .
I've had this chameleon a few months and can't tell what sex it is? I do see red neck and green on it's cheek but have no clue about tail size or bulge?
Funny how not many people here go to this local expo. This will be the second one this year . Last time I saw two dealers with a nice selection of chameleons, mostly adult panthers . 3-4 others had nice selections of veiles and Jackson's .
Seems like everyone has chameleons for sale! Such a selection, more so now that any other time I have noticed.
I wonder if it's breeding timed correctly for the spring?
I have two chamelons , a veil about 8" in a large cage and a panther about 5" in a smaller cage, both are doing well, it's just I'm not sure if there 5 feet away from each other it will bother them?
