I am making an outdoor cage for him as I live in Florida and that is where he was caught, what size cage would you guys recommend I make for him?
Does anyone have a tip on how to tame a veiled. Got this guy a few weeks ago and he wants nothing to do with me. The only way he will let me anywhere near him is if i'm holding a horn worm but I still cant get close enough to touch him. His eyes light up when I walk in with a horn worm its...
Its a great show I never miss it and definitely will be there. As far as finding a veiled chameleon I know of a few places Largo Pinellas County reptiles and another in Dunedin but I don't remember there name. I just got a large male from the one in Dunedin. Here's a Video of him eating...
Yes it does work. To grow moss I take a big matt of already grown moss and smash it into the clay the moss will slowly cover the clay over a few months.
I was told most tincs dont climb once they settle into there tanks. My cobalts stoped climbing about a month after being in the tank. I dont have an azureus so cant confim that with personal exp. ITs funny though every frog is different .
The D. azureus will stay more on the ground I would recommend keeping him in a vertical 10gallon the like the floor space. The leucs on the other hand will use every space you give them I have a trio in a 18x18x24. Glad to see you made the leap to dartfrogs you will enjoy the leucs calling...
