i just received my first order of 500 crickets from reptilefood.com, i put them in there new home and added collard greens, sprouted/crushed flax seeds, oatmeal and carrot slices. the crickets went to town on their food. it feels good knowing Romeo will have a healthy breakfast in the morning...
what kind of chams are they? most do not like to be housed together. spinach from what i have read blocks calcium absorption so i think i would switch to collard greens if i were you. a lot of times when chams open their mouths it is because they are hot. and some pictures would be nice
well its about 4' tall and 2.5' wide and deep. he is also next to a window that receives a lot of sun light so the ambient temp in the i don't have to worry about too much
i have a powersun UV and my veiled seems to love it. its about 12-14 inches from the top of his enclosure and my cham is healthy, eating, drinking and growing like a weed so i would have to say that the results are great so far...
if you just got him the other day then he is probably just trying to get accustomed to his new surrounding's. my veiled loves to bask and im sure yours will start very soon.
