Wow they look so adorable when they are so small and helpless.
Does anyone have the Chameleons of Madagascar DVD that is advertised on this forum? If so how is it?
Murtasma is a combination of muramasa and phantasma. Murtasma was a very famous sword smith in Japan. Phantasma was derived from the Greek word phantasm which is a ghost.
So Mura comes from Muramasa and tasma comes from phantasma.
Muratasma.
Well I setup the misting system. It wasn't to hard the only problem I ran into was with the T-Splitter. I was unsure how to connect it to the system but then discovered I had to insert it into the output end of the pump. Once I figured that out I was ready to go.
The mister is perfect it's...
I have a nice glass cage and tons of additional supplies. Probably just about enough to have an entire setup for another lizard or frog.
Does anyone have any recommendations on species to look into? The cage would be more suited toward a frog or lizard that prefers to climb (no more chameleons).
I hope my water system is waiting on my porch when I get home. I really do but I doubt it. I bet it comes tomorrow. All these great responses got me ready to drench my chameleon in a shower of H20 love.
I notice the same thing with mine sometimes, I can sit there and mist him for 5 minutes and he shows not interest. Other times I only mist him for a minute and he drinks it up constantly.
Excellent thank you for the response. I can't wait to setup my misting system. If I don't have such a vigorous misting schedule as you (6 minutes) maybe I wouldn't even need drainage. I will have to watch it for a day or two closely to watch the water buildup and make sure Skittles drinks every...
Hey Ryan,
I see you have your lllreptile cages on a table there with the plastic bottom insert but I don't see any holes in the insert? How is the water drained? It looks like you have a really nice setup.
HerpMist Mister
How fine is the mist that is produced. I looked at the video on...
I will be getting my herpmist.com misting system in the mail shortly. Hopefully today or tomorrow.
My question to any fellow keepers that use automatic misting systems. What is your schedule like? What times do you mist and for how long?
How can I tell if I am misting to much or not enough?
