Yes, I have read that D3 can build up in a chameleons system and actually be harmful. From what I understand, D3 supplements should be given once to twice a month depending on how much natural sun exposer they get.

So when your treating a chameleon with parasites, you do so to ensure the health of the chameleon, not because they present a danger to humans? And of course I will use careful handwashing practices before and after handling any chameleon.

How long can you keep crickets or worms without having to give them their own shelter, lighting, and food(outside of gutloading of course)?
