56 eggs, 3 small Tupperware containers on the closet shelf @ around 72 degess, and 52 healthy babies crawling around right now, 4 eggs left to go ..... my second clutch to hatch out using shelving method....
Ideally you should let them cruise around in your container until the egg sack has been completely absorbed as well before placing them in a enclosure... I learned the hard way, it can get stuck on about anything and can cause problems really quick and shorten their chances of survival...good luck
I currently have 2 clutches incubating right now, do you guys think i should change over to perlite now and try to hatch these out or do you think the damage may be with them now as well? If so is it reversible at this point? they still have a few months to go...
No I haven't cut it open it is the latest one to get fuzzy and start to shrivel, I am certain if i do there will be a fully developed little one in there who didn't make it....

Ill get some pictures up after teh kids got o school, I have them in the closet at about 65to 75 tops.... they are in a plastic shoe box type container, the same one i had when i had 8 hatch out last year.... I also have a clutch i believe to be infertile they are very clear looking and...
Ok I have about 20 veiled eggs left and and no site of hatching what so ever.....these were layed on June 3rd. one hatched about 2 months ago and only lived for about 5 days.... it drank quite a bit but no eating and never opened his eyes.... it seems one at a time these eggs are starting to...
I would say a vet trip is def in order and It would also appear that your little guy has had a pretty serious bout with MBD with concerns to his casque.. Ive never seen one shaped like that...let us know how it all works out and what the vet says...

I have built many cages, all wood, the largest concern is waterproofing it to suit the need of your animals and not to destroy your home...If you have wood working tools, screw guns, drills, jigsaws,tablesaw/ circular saw you can build these cages and get very good results you desire..[/IMG]...
Stain and then polyurethane or the varnish is the way to go, you will also really want to think about poly and varnish as well with the treated lumber if and when you ever use treated wood, due to all the chemicals they use in the treating, which some include formaldehyde, and such.... I build...
