Wow.....the buyer that fell through is going to be kicking him/herself in the butt for letting him get away especially when he is a bit older and in his full glory. He is going to be a real looker.
Congratulations on all your hard work....its paying off :)
I do have friends that have relatives there so I will ask around for you. The are not into chams but usually locals seem to know where they are. :)
Manoa Falls which is not too far out from Waikiki. There is a great waterfall at the end so that trail is worth it alone.
Take bug...
I am really bad at spotting wild chams. I have been to many different Islands over the last 2 years and have managed after hours of searching and trekking to see 1 Jackson on Oahu even after doing many treks. The little buggers hide really well.
If you do manage to spot any please let me...
My good obsessions are horses (Australian Stock Horses and Warmbloods) and anything to do with eventing, native birds, gardening and vintage VW Beetles - pre 1967.
My bad obsessions are the neighborhood dirty stray cats that are breeding endlessly and that mess up our back and front yard...
Great advice!
CauseNAffect my 5 year old daughter reads this forum with me along with a lot of other youngings. Dont swear... dont want to have censor every thread that she reads.
3 weeks is nothing for a young cham settling into a new home and environment especially if you are handling...
Its common and normal....my male panther does it all the time. He has calmed down a bit now that he is getting older but he is 'tasting' to see if any other males have been around occupying his territory.
What a sweet little girl, she looked like a real little character. I love that first photo of her it really seemed to capture her personality and spirit.
So sorry for you and your daughters loss. Your photos are absolutely brilliant of her and do her so much justice.
Sleep well...
Beautiful but very hot and dry Palm Springs...I am really getting over 115 - 118 degree summer weather. Would like to move to San Diego or La Jolla to be closer to the ocean. I really like San Diego :)
A raven will take a cham. Small birds, reptiles etc are part of their diet. They are not picky. Lucky he warned you something was up! :D
Birds are birds....they do what comes naturally and we cant blame them for that. Its never a birds fault for taking a cham. Its just a meal to them...
Sorry for your loss....its always hard. Where abouts are you in the world? Magpies just like any other birds will do that. They are very intelligent like crows. You must be very careful with outdoor enclosures. Here in California its hawks...but you cant blame them. They just do what birds...
Hi,
Is this the cham you just got last Friday? If so it might take her a week or two to settle in and eat. Mine took a good 2 weeks or so before they were consistent. Some keepers are lucky and they eat and drink right straight away.
Just keep up her hydration with lots of mistings and...
Before heading out to the stores please read this blog...it will help greatly in understanding how to look after your cham.

Its really good to see the 2 of you really wanting the best for her :)
p.s I am not David but no lights at...
You are most likely cooking her....you need to get the temps down and get a digital thermometer to get an accurate reading. Those analogue things can and are way off so it maybe hotter than 90 in there especially when its around 90 degrees in Georgia.
She is probablly digging in that dirt...
You have not filled in all the answers...but you are doing well :)
What cage do you have her in (Glass or screen) and what size is it?
How are you measuring temperatures with a digital or analogue gauge? If its not digital then your temps can be really out and 90 is way to high for her to...
Hi and welcome to the forum...its nice to have you here :)
Please fill in the how to ask for help form...from your first post its to vague to say if she is gravid or not and please post a pic of her.
