It is raining hard! I am visiting and got caught in it about 2 hours ago. I wouldn't though as its only around 50 - 53 degrees out and no sun.....If you do then dont leave him out too long and make sure he has time to bask/warm up well before bedtime......JMO.

Depending on how long he has been free (as the weather has been mild at the moment in So Cal) he could have traveled for at least a mile or 2. Many chams have done that and many owners dont think they can travel that far and wont for long so wont search that far and may have given up on him...
