So I recently invested in some Dubia roaches. I got about 25 medium sized ones from the Roach Cafe. I've got them in a plastic bin in the garage, where the lights stay off. I'm offering Roach Chow and Fluker's High Calcium Water Crystals right now (they aren't being gutloaded, because I'm not...
While King Kong is probably stronger and faster, he lacks the array of weapons that Godzilla carries. Claws, hard scales, spines, a tail, as well as a fiery breathe attack. These advantages would definitely trump King Kong's agility and strength.
So I was sitting outside with my panther today. He was sitting on a branch basking, when I saw this nasty red thing come out of his vent. It came out pretty far, and was out for maybe 10-15 seconds. Does anyone know what this is?
So please tell me what you think. This is my first time making a cage for
my first cham. The heat lamp and reptisun 5.0 are on top, and I've got the water nozzle pointing straight down to simulate rain. The plants inside are two umbrellas.
As long as they are in constant sun, 60 is pretty much the minimum. Go outside and stick your hands out. If you can feel the warmth from the sun, then it should be ok.
I gotta say, I am loving these warm sunny days, and I think Loki is too. We've been out here for two hours now, just kinda hanging out. Drinking Dr. Pepper, listening to dubstep, and shooting at the occasional bird that lands in the yard. It's been a helluva good day so far!
Is he in a black screen cage? If so, then he might have been rubbing against it. My Cham had the exact same thing on his mouth. He was trying to get some shedding off by using to walls of the cage, and his lips were black afterwards.
Forgive the stupid pun, but I thought if people read it, they would be DRONE to my post. Forgive that one too. Haha
But anyways, Loki is outside enjoying some sun. He just ate a small bee. It landed next to him, and he ate it. He ate the stinking' bee.
One bee won't hurt him will it? Do you...
