Being involved in rescue and taking part in helping out unwanted, abused & neglected animals is a nobel thing. It takes special and caring people to do so.
Anyone who breeds should take into consideration the marketability of the animals they breed. It's going to come down to what you can...
One of the culprits here is a chill/draft.
Factors to think about:
1. Basking area can get up to 90/95 at times.
2. Misting and humidifier
3. Next to an open window
4. Average temps. for Canoga Park
The ambient air is being effected and causing drastic temperature changes. I am...
I would do a search on that plant on this site "Schefflera actinophylla".
Few touch up on it being toxic. Also on http://www.chameleonnews.com/new/?page=article&id=65 says the same thing.
First I like to say 'BRAVO' to you Stacey!
Nice write up for the general public of chameleon keepers!!!
Mika you missed the whole point of this posting. Last paragraph says it all.
We can go on all day quoting what specialist or vet can and can not recommend and come up with our own...
For all you locals, I highly recommend attending one of these meetings. Very informative for new and old! The forums are great, but nothing beats the old fashion way of conversing with people in person.;)

I'm sure you can use the bird cage as a frame/skeleton to be lined with screening...
Now the key word here is 'they'. So is it safe to assume you have more than one in a single cage? If that is the case then that could be the reason why she is sleeping at the very top. Trying to get as far as she can away from the other chameleon(s). That can be very stressful.
Accidents...
You can never go wrong having extra screen cages. Having a very large enclosure (seeing that you're from MN... safe to assume it will be indoors), give some thought that on hot sunny days you will want to take advantage of having your chameleon outdoors. So unless the enclosure you plan to...
Just curious...
How much different will the logo be? If it's going to be a drastic change, maybe this contest should be held off. The efforts put in may not correlate to the new design.
We humans can be a fickle bunch. In a way we are much like our chameleons (slow to adaptation...
Usually the favicon is designed in mind of the most related or recognizable image on the site. Also to note simplicity.
So this in mind, heres my entry: I just used the little chameleon on the header logo. To me he's the 'Chameleon forums' mascot.
