I like your enthusiasm. , sometimes it's better to stay with the norm and add your talent to fixing things like branch arrangement , drainage , stand or canopy design ect
I might not have been clear, it's 55 at night and around 80 during the day outside. They have partial shade if they want to add a big drip obviously.
I brought them back inside I want them to get warmer with the basking lights. Inside it's 65 at night 85 in the basking light
I was wondering if it's better to keep my chameleon outside these days, it still gets very sunny , but temps are from 80-55 at nite. There eating , drinking and shedding fine, just wanted to know it it's better back inside with heat lamps at 85 and uv bulbs ? There juvi panthers .
Mine are on the deck , close to the house, I had a stray cat come around, but the cages are strapped to the railings. I wonder if they like it side more than inside with artificial lights . It's so much easier to keep the cages clean
Thank you Carl , I work from home so I just gently hose the cages down and wash away the poop 3 times aday.
I have 2 panthers and a veil. I have partial covers on there cages to limit rain and sun,
I'm mostly concerned if the temps don't drop enough at nite ?
ThZnks , I just wanted to know if I was the only one, it's so much easier just to clean the cages. And all this talk about being raised in the Florida sun , has given my guys a growth spurt and a lot more color for being juvies
Wanted to know if anyone else keeps their chameleons outside, I live in New York ,it's warm now, humidity is pretty high, just concerned if the temperature is not dropping it off at night.
Any thoughts?
It's been a few weeks they seem to like it
