I always travel alone. In 2005, Ardi got me in touch with Goulam. Ardi traveled several times with Goulam and a group of friends in Madagascar.
I travel every year since 2005 to Madagascar. Ardi gave me a lot of information about Madagascar, and was a great help in obtaining one of the best...
Thanks for the information. Then it will probably not be able to greet Ken and Todd personally. Too bad, maybe they read even with the forum.
I promise to update the website soon. I have many pictures of different species and I have visited several national parks. So I can show you then...
I'm just back from Madagascar.
I was there and spent much time with my longtime friend and guide Goulam.
Some of you have already been out with him such as Ardi Abate.
I order many greetings from Goulam and especially to Ken Kalis and Todd Resley.
Soon I will show new images of the last trip...
I will visit the area Andohahela
In 3 weeks I will visit the area Andohahela. I have previously heard anything about this chameleon. Are you sure that there are these species in this region. If you have pictures, I'd be very happy. Maybe I can find this kind of chameleon. If I find something...
Hello,
Many of you may remember the photos of my recent trip to Madagascar.
Or a reminder to visit www.pantherchameleon.de.
In March, I start my 6th trip to the island. This time I will go to Fort Dauphin and Ankarafantsika. A large part of my trip will take place on the northwest coast...

You are absolutly right with your skepticism. Here in europe are several countrys with very low rules about animal trading. You will find here on some exhebitions not legal reptiles in bad condition.

I will update my website about the keeping and breeding very soon

I spend a lot of time in the middle highlands the "minor area" tapia forest in Madagascar.
I can not agree that they become common or more abudant like you say.
But it is true that they are more closer to villages or farmes because of missing tapia forest.
The tapia forest ist the original...
F. minor
in the group are 4 males and 4 females from different bloodlines
we take care this species more then 4 years,
all of them have official papers
we are very happy to breed them succesfully
The weather was fine and the time was right for a nice shooting with my F. minor group in the garden.
Since May the minors are in the garden. The medium weather is very nice for them.
But also the hot sun like this weekend is not realy a problem when they have a place in the shape and enough water.
During my time on Nosy faly I saw Panther males more blue then green,
but never I saw them with stripes http://www.pantherchameleon.de/?q=node/78/!
All the males on the island have the "red rain" speckles.
When you leave the island down to Ambanja the stripes become more and more...
the first two pictures are a baby F. petteri from Joffreville and on pictures three and four
you see a small boy of F. minor, he comes from the middle highlands of Madagascar
