So I went to the vets today thinking my Cham has a respiratory infection, turns out he did, a lower respiratory infection. They have prescribed baytril for 14 days.
While I was there they looked into my chams mouth and said it was greenish in colour which is bad. What can I do about this?
Ok, I'm going to a vet that will deal with reptiles but is not a reptile vet. I know that baytril is used on many different animals so I'm guessing that the dosage is given by how much they weigh.
Thanks
Hi, my Cham has a what seems like an upper respiratory infection, he gasps every now and then and sometimes clicking noises. It hasn't got bad yet but want to prevent it getting any worse and cure it.
I'm going to buy some baytril today, could someone tell me how and what Amounts are needed for...
There are no other animals which can get into the room and no way for him to escape so pretty safe i guess.
I would only leave him to sleep there if he wants to, if he didn't go to sleep at normal time i would put him back, i dont want to stress him!
can i let my cham sleep on his free range if he want to? he would be perfectly safe throughout the night.
i would put him back in the morning so he can bask and eat
I'm not experienced with trying to house chams together but from what I've heard while on this forum is that it's a bad idea and is very hard, and that's when there the same species!
I've tried hand feeding but he hasn't shown any interest yet. I will try the plant idea but it may take a long time as he really doesn't come to the front of his cage much.
I got my new panther Cham 2 weeks ago now, he is 3.5 months old. He is quite scared of me and if I come within a 4 feet of the cage he runs and hides. The only few time he hasn't Run I've opened the cage and he fires up and hisses at me. Will this behaviour change as he gets older?
I got my...
I have had the plant for about 5 months now and suddenly it's started. I think it must be getting to much water for my misting system, will direct nozzles away!
