they do have those kind of systems. If you look up geodesic greenhouse. The panels open up with heat pressure so that it doesn't get too hot inside. To make sure your cham doesn't escape you simply put screen and bam no lose cham. I have a geodesic dome that i will be using this summer to house...
she is 4.5 months old. She has a 5.0 Repti sun in her cage. There is a pothos and a ficus tree. There is no substrate since there are rocks on top of it.
ok so at first i thought nothing of it but through out they day she as kept it closed. It is her right eye and it seems to be the eye that is pointing to the lights. She has stayed under the same lights, at the same hight. What do you think i should do?
well the only problem with the carports is you are going to have to either cut off the metal sheets, and the metal might rust. As if you go with wood and use a corrugated hard plastic for the whole thing you won't only have a greenhouse, but you would also have a cham cage that will hold...
I use ficus in one of my enclosures and an umbrella tree in the other. Both are very large, but if you want to go more the bushy route i would look into a ficus, with a large pathos in there hanging. My chams love both!
Well Laurie I was posting the same time as you and didn't see your post. I have a few friends who have carpets and I have held them with no problems. They seemed to be quite friendly. But I guess I haven't raised them, so I don't know a darned thing!
I've herd that carpets are a lot more chill. But I don't know if either are a good beginner cham. There are some really good care sheets on both here on the forums.
I would say just put a vertical screen up around the sides of the pond just for extra protection. Chams are quite nifty and they will find a way around any optical. I do the same thing haha and if makes my girlfriend nuts because every week I am designing a new cage and she yells at me cuz I am...
I have an aquazamp! You will never regret either. I have to mist two cages and the only thing I had to change was the water container. I love mine! You can make it rain as long as you want. And the cool thing about the aquazamp is that it leaves water droplets on the screen on top and my chams...
Hum not sure what you mean there. But I think that the only way to know if something is going to work, it try it! Lol. If it doesn't look safe then don't do it. I can't wait to see what you come out with! Keep us all informed with lost of pictures!!!
