    Ok Electric Users...Electricians?

The expense also depends on the layout of your home and the proximity of where you keep your chams to the electrical panel. In this house it would be very expensive. Chams are kept on the northwest side of the house on the 2nd floor. The electrical panel is on the southwest side of the house in...

    Ok Electric Users...Electricians?

Most people "get around" it by not knowing any better and just continuing with it anyway. The correct way when you have that many things is to have an electrician come in and run dedicated circuits. Yes it's usually pretty expensive, but not nearly what it would cost if your home went up in...

    Vehicle registration

I own a truck(4WD), I also have a car, but it's a "toy" and I also own a second fullsize truck(only 2 wheel drive). The biggest of the 3 is the primary driver. Why you might ask? Because I like trucks, I live in the country, I might just decide to stop by a home depot/lowe's/menards and...

    Waiting for my Veiled

Looks good, amazing how much stuff we can fit into a small area when we really want to:p How do you take care of drainage? I must be missing it in the pics. Does the top of those metal racks come like that? Where did you get your water reservoir? Excellent TV choice, the samsungs are...

can a male ambilobe breed with a female if its too yung or will it not even try?

If you are unsure of his age, are you just putting them together to see if they can/will mate? Or are they housed together all the time and he just keeps trying to mate with her? I'm not sure if you are trying to mate them, or prevent it.

what kind of chameleon do i have???

This forum is full of helpful people. I am fairly new here, and new to chameleons as well. They are amazing, I now have 2 of them , both veileds just like you have. There are several different thoughts and practices on raising these animals, but a few commonly accepted ones, and getting as...

Affects of Natural Sunlight on a Panther Chameleon

I'm with you, Let's Go!!! Like I said before, still kicking myself for moving back here, I miss it a lot out there. Ok, yes that helps, have to go on the other side of the house than I had planned on for the big trees and the large shaded area.

Affects of Natural Sunlight on a Panther Chameleon

Would you say temps are too high around the 85 degree range? Also, I have veileds not panthers, I'm sure that makes a little difference, but probably not a whole lot.

    Small holes in condo

Use gloves if you do it that way, hot glue is well..... HOT!!! I don't think it is hot enough to give you a serious burn, at least it never has burnt me that bad, but it does hurt. Could you use a small piece of screen and just super glue it in place over your holes?? I'm not sure if super...

Affects of Natural Sunlight on a Panther Chameleon

You all in southern california, and southern florida are lucky to have such great weather that permits you to keep your chams outside.....Add it to the list of reasons why I can't figure out why I ever moved back here from so cal....:p I do have a question concerning taking your...

    "Interesting" chameleon behavior

Thank you for sharing, are there any other interesting cham behaviors anyone else wants to share? I like hearing how different each chams personality is, and the little quirky things they do.

    "Interesting" chameleon behavior

That is pretty much exactly the enclosure he is in now. I don't consider what he is doing a "problem" he was only sitting on the floor because there were no vines or plants that reached that side of his enclosure(which I have fixed now, knowing he does this). He does not go down there any other...

    "Interesting" chameleon behavior

That was my concern the first couple days so I started watching him more closely, that's when I started seeing that it only occured when I stayed in my room in a location he couldn't see me from in any of his normal places.

Emerald Tree Boa - New Local X Northern

I would absolutely love one of these, the price is what keeps me out of them, beautiful sanke though. I do hear they tend to be a bit on the aggressive side.

    Ups

He should just give you the tracking number, so you can track it yourself, instead of relying on him via messages that can possibly be missed. That's true, Fed-Ex does deliver on sat. where as UPS does not, unless it's a sat. deliver package, which is ridiculously expensive to do.

    question about hornworms

It is next to a picture of cup with a lid on it, that has 3 holes punched into the lid, there's a lot of info on that site. I was gonnna do hornworms, but I don't know if it's worth the trouble of having the specialized enclosure. I ordered some silks hoping they might be a little easier. It's...
