Yea I've had him on phoenix worms too. He seems to like them :)
Roach shop have some very small ones. Maybe Ill try those out.
I just want to reiterate here that he is eating. I just want him to eat more as I have read is healthy at this age.
I think I've said this before but every time I see pics of Amy she get progressively more awesome. Great work!
I hope my little Socs turns out as good-looking!
Thanks for the advice. Wont use spinach any more.
I've always got some cricks roaming around free range and also a plastic tub with a few in near the top of the enclosure. Using brown cricks at the moment. Going to order some black ones tomorrow.
When i cleaned out his enclosure today...
Meet Socs - (short for Socrates). He's a 3 month old Ambilobe
I've had him for one week now and he seems to be settling in nicely. His blues and red are already coming through :D The sire was a stunner so fingers crossed.
Been feeding him on small crickets gut loaded on carrot and lime or...
Wow, talk about thread hijacking :)
Any input on my enclosure would be great. Picking my guy up tomorrow and would like everything to be just right.
Any other input on basking spot temps for a baby panther?
Thanks in advance.
Cool, I actually have a couple of small umbrella plants. Ill stick one or both in there to fill up the space. As for light, its night time and my iPhone camera isnt very good. But if I was to get another light what should it be? A basking light or another UV for the side maybe?

Hello!
Im just setting up my first automister and there is a very light spray making its way up towards my lighting at the top of my all-aluminium screen cage. My lighting is far from getting soaked but there is a fraction of spray visible when it catches the light.
Any input on...
Thanks for replies.
Warpdrive - I have an automister so hydration shouldn't be an issue. I see what you mean about waiting 7 hours for a feed though.
Would a workaround of this be to sneak some breakfast crickets into the enclosure in the morning? (ones that don't chirp) Then when the...
Hello!
After an unbearable three month wait, I'm finally picking up my first Cham next weekend! He's a 3 month old Ambilobe. Enclosure is all but complete - details soon to be posted in hope of some critique.
I was wondering about light cycle times. I leave the house at 9am for work Monday...
Hi Tiff,
The first thing I thought when I saw the pics in the OP was 'that's a healthy-looking cham'. Glad it looks confirmed now. Amy is growing into a gorgeous veiled and you should be a proud chamelemum! :)
Great Looking Cham Bridgofaith! I'm soon picking up an Ambilobe that I hope will be so bright at just 6 months =)
Sorry to be off topic for a sec but is that a Repti-Breeze aluminium screen enclosure you've got there?
I don't live somewhere where there are raccoons.
But if I did then I would use two layers of the stuff in Malicious' photo above so if a Cham was climbing the side of the enclosure, the raccoon couldn't get to his feet. I'd image it could do considerable damage in a short amount of time if the...
Hi Ronnie,
LivefoodUK usually has flies in stock. Here is a link to their feeders page. I'm still waiting for collection of my first ever Cham (will the time never come?) so I don't know how they're shipped or the quality of them.
However, my flatmate uses the store for crickets for his...
